About the Role
Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Industrial Engineer to join their team in East London as a Process Analyst . This hybrid role is focused on meticulously examining and improving existing operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity. You will be instrumental in collecting and analyzing data, identifying bottlenecks, and developing practical solutions to streamline workflows. This position offers a dynamic blend of on-site operational observation and collaboration, alongside remote data analysis and reporting, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of current operational processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collect and analyze data related to production output, cycle times, resource utilization, and quality metrics.
- Develop process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to visualize and understand workflows.
- Propose and help implement practical solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Support the implementation of Lean principles and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to management and relevant teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2-4 years of experience in industrial engineering or a process analysis role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or statistical software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
