About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and articulate University Admissions Counselor to join their dynamic team, operating remotely to serve prospective students interested in their Stellenbosch campus and programs. This role is essential in guiding students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to final enrollment. You will be responsible for promoting the university's offerings, evaluating applications, and building relationships with potential candidates and educational institutions across the region. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the higher education landscape in Stellenbosch and beyond, committed to helping students find the right academic path.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise prospective students and their families on admission requirements, program options, and financial aid.
• Review and evaluate admission applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Conduct virtual information sessions and webinars to showcase university programs and campus life.
• Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other feeder institutions.
• Achieve and exceed established enrollment targets for assigned territories or programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, or Education.
• 2+ years of experience in university admissions, recruitment, or higher education advising.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems for prospect management and admissions tracking.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
