About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and customer-focused Claims Adjuster to join their team in George . This role involves investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims accurately and efficiently. You will be the primary point of contact for policyholders during the claims process, providing clear communication and ensuring a fair resolution. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to upholding the company's reputation for integrity and service excellence in the Western Cape region, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims to determine liability and coverage extent.
• Conduct thorough assessments of damages and losses through site visits and evidence review.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties within company guidelines.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting claim investigations, findings, and settlement recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and records using internal systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a similar insurance claims role.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, legal requirements, and claims investigation procedures.
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with claims management software and standard office applications.
