About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Sports Data Analyst to join their innovative team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to leverage your passion for sports and data from anywhere. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing vast amounts of sports-related data to provide actionable insights that inform strategy, performance, and fan engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a keen understanding of various sports metrics and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sports-related sources.
• Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and performance indicators in sports.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize data insights for coaches, management, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sports teams and departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical support.
• Utilize predictive modeling techniques to forecast game outcomes, player performance, or market trends.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in sports analytics and data science methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably in the sports industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, or similar.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
