About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Agricultural Sales Representative to join their team, focusing on fertilizers and crop protection products in the Klerksdorp, North West region. This role requires a blend of sales acumen and agricultural expertise to build strong relationships with farmers, understand their needs, and provide effective product solutions. You will be instrumental in driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction within a dynamic agricultural market. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets for fertilizers and crop protection products.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural businesses.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions, providing technical advice and support.
• Conduct product demonstrations and field visits to showcase product benefits and efficacy.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.

Requirements

• Proven track record in agricultural sales, preferably with fertilizers and crop protection chemicals.
• Strong understanding of crop science, agronomy, and agricultural practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
• A relevant degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or Marketing is advantageous.
