Warehouse Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee their warehouse activities in Mahikeng . This position is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. You will lead a team of warehouse personnel, implement operational strategies, and maintain high standards of safety and productivity. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and system reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
• Implement and refine warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain flow.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and best practices.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in logistics or management are a plus.
