About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous and dependable Facilities Cleaning Specialist to uphold the cleanliness and hygiene standards of their premises in Mossel Bay . This position plays a key role in ensuring a safe, presentable, and welcoming environment for all occupants. You will be tasked with a variety of cleaning duties, employing effective techniques and utilizing a range of cleaning equipment and supplies. Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive cleaning protocols for all areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring a high level of hygiene is maintained.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning machines and tools, including floor polishers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Manage the stocking and organization of cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is kept in good working order.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in an appropriate and timely manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in facility cleaning, janitorial services, or a related field is required.
• Knowledge of industrial-grade cleaning agents, their proper usage, and safety precautions.
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of commercial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting, and carrying for extended periods.
