Senior Clinical Research Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate to join their growing clinical operations team in Klerksdorp . This vital role involves overseeing and managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols, regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. You will be responsible for site monitoring, data collection, and ensuring the integrity and quality of trial conduct. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation visits, interim monitoring visits, and site closure visits for clinical trials.
• Ensure that clinical trials are conducted, recorded, and reported in accordance with the protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and quality of clinical data collected at study sites.
• Train and support site staff on study protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between the sponsor and investigative sites, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site-specific documentation, including monitoring visit reports and essential documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience in monitoring multi-center clinical trials across various therapeutic areas.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with site personnel.
