About the Role

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company located in Mahikeng, North West , is seeking an energetic and experienced Production Team Lead . This role is instrumental in guiding a team of production operators, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of daily manufacturing tasks, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. You will be responsible for directing work, providing on-the-job training, and ensuring targets are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to step into a leadership position within a key manufacturing operation in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of production operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Direct the day-to-day activities on the production floor, ensuring adherence to schedules.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members on processes and safety procedures.
• Monitor production output and quality, identifying and addressing deviations promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist supervisors with performance feedback and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing production environment , with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment and adhere to strict safety protocols.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
