Job description

Consumer marketing expert needed in the pharmaceutical sector to provide strategic guidance and performance optimisation to maximise consumer reach and operational excellence.

Key Performance Areas

  • Growth Frameworks: Architect comprehensive marketing playbooks and standardised frameworks to ensure marketing excellence and consistent execution across all brand portfolios.
  • Performance Marketing: Lead and optimise full-funnel digital performance—including Paid Media, SEO, Social Media, and CRM—to improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and reduce customer acquisition costs.
  • Insights & Analytics: Synthesise complex consumer behaviour data into actionable recommendations, utilising marketing dashboards to identify new growth opportunities and emerging trends for brand stakeholders.
  • Capability Development: Coach and mentor the broader marketing team to build internal digital and consumer marketing capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and data-driven decision-making.

Education

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce.
  • Digital Marketing certifications advantageous.

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in consumer marketing.
  • Proven experience driving digital and traditional marketing performance.
  • Strong performance marketing and analytics capability.
  • Experience coaching or leading marketing teams.
  • FMCG, Consumer Health or OTC experience advantageous
