Childminder - Sandton

About the Role Our client is looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced Childminder to care for their young child(ren) in their Sandton home. You will be responsible for the daily care, supervision, and engagement of the child(ren), ensuring their safety, well-being, and development in a nurturing home environment. This role requires a dedicated individual who can provide consistent, loving care and foster a positive daily routine, becoming a trusted caregiver within the family unit and contributing to the child's happy and healthy upbringing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and safe supervision for the child(ren) at all times.
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and outings.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child(ren).
• Assist with children's routines, including naps, bath time, and bedtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area and ensure child safety within the home.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a childminder or in a similar childcare role, with references.
• Ability to create a structured and engaging daily routine for children.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and with a genuine love for children.
