Senior Project Manager - Manufacturing & Operations

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead key manufacturing and operations projects in East London . This position demands a strategic leader capable of driving efficiency improvements, implementing new production processes, and managing capital expenditure projects within the manufacturing environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, working closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex manufacturing and operations projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, allocate resources, and oversee timelines effectively.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to achieve project objectives.
• Implement operational improvements and new manufacturing technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial), Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on manufacturing and operations environments.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, and quality management systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
