Clinical Research Associate - George

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and dedicated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their clinical operations team, based in or covering the George region. This role is integral to ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials, adhering to strict protocols and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for monitoring clinical trial sites, verifying data accuracy, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits (initiation, interim, and close-out) to ensure compliance with protocols, regulations, and SOPs.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical trial data through source document verification.
• Monitor patient safety and report adverse events according to regulatory requirements and study protocols.
• Train and support investigators and study site staff on trial procedures and requirements.
• Liaise with investigators, study coordinators, and other site personnel to resolve data queries.
• Ensure timely submission of essential documents and study supplies to the sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related scientific field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to clinical trial sites within the George area and surrounding regions.
