About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-driven and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the successful execution of residential development projects in East London . You will be responsible for managing all aspects of site operations, from planning and scheduling to subcontractor coordination and quality control, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of residential construction processes. You will work closely with developers, architects, engineers, and site teams to deliver high-quality homes that meet client expectations and regulatory standards. On-site presence is paramount for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage all on-site construction activities for residential projects.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and site personnel.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to architectural and engineering specifications.
- Manage site logistics, material procurement, and equipment utilization.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on residential developments.
- Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods .
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
