HR Specialist - Compensation & Benefits

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous HR Specialist focusing on Compensation & Benefits to join their team in Pretoria. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs. You will conduct market research, analyze salary structures, and manage benefits vendors to ensure our client attracts and retains top talent. This is a specialized role for a dedicated HR professional passionate about total rewards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's salary structures, job grading, and pay equity analyses.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages.
• Manage relationships with benefits providers and third-party administrators.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits legislation and regulations.
• Prepare reports and presentations on compensation and benefits data for senior management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits administration.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in salary benchmarking and modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor laws related to compensation and benefits.
• Experience with HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
