About the Role

Our client, a premier catering company located in Richards Bay , is actively seeking a driven and results-oriented Catering Sales Executive to expand its client base and drive revenue growth. This role is client-facing and requires a dynamic individual with exceptional sales acumen and a passion for the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and proposing tailored catering solutions for corporate events, private functions, and weddings. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the local market and a proven ability to close deals while upholding the company's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within the corporate and private event sectors.
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to prospective clients' needs.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Achieve and exceed set sales targets and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction post-sale.
• Conduct market research to identify competitive landscape and emerging trends in the catering industry.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality, events, or catering industry.
• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong networking abilities and a proactive approach to business development.
• Ability to understand and articulate complex catering packages and services.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Richards Bay region.
