About the Role

Our client, a highly reputable Recruitment Consultancy based in Port Elizabeth, is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to specialize in the Financial Services sector. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial industry's talent needs and a proven ability to connect top-tier professionals with leading financial institutions. You will play a crucial role in driving recruitment success, building strong client partnerships, and contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence within the Eastern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for roles within banking, insurance, asset management, and other financial services areas.
• Source and engage with high-caliber candidates, including financial analysts, investment bankers, compliance officers, and risk managers.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in financial institutions across South Africa.
• Provide expert advice to clients on talent acquisition strategies, market insights, and compensation trends in financial services.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments, evaluating both technical skills and cultural fit.
• Achieve and surpass ambitious placement and revenue targets for the financial services division.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in recruitment, with a strong focus and demonstrable success in placing professionals within the Financial Services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, its key players, and typical career paths.
• Proven ability to build and maintain a strong professional network within the sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and modern recruitment methodologies.
• A relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Human Resources is preferred.
