Supply Chain Optimization Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current supply chain processes , identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and service levels.
• Develop and implement strategies for inventory management, demand forecasting and network design.
• Utilize optimization software and modeling techniques to improve logistics, warehousing and transportation operations.
• Collaborate virtually with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and execution of supply chain initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track progress and identify further optimization opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in supply chain management to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain optimization , logistics engineering, or operations research.
• Proven experience with supply chain modeling and simulation tools (e.g., AnyLogic, Arena) and optimization solvers.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical analysis and data mining.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a remote environment .
• Proficiency in project management and a deep understanding of various supply chain functions.
