About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Chemical Production Engineer to join their manufacturing facility in Bloemfontein . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our chemical production lines. You will focus on optimizing production processes, troubleshooting operational issues, and implementing improvements to meet output targets and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily chemical production operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and targets.
• Monitor process performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, working closely with maintenance and operations teams.
• Implement process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, and reduce waste.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Assist in the training and development of plant operators and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in chemical plant operations or production engineering.
• Solid understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience with process monitoring, data analysis, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations in a plant setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
