Fleet Driver - Centurion Hub

About the Role Our client seeks a skilled and responsible Fleet Driver to operate from their Centurion hub, managing a variety of transport assignments. This role is vital for maintaining the smooth operation of the company's logistics and ensuring the efficient movement of goods across different distribution points. The successful candidate will be entrusted with company assets and expected to uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers the opportunity to work within a structured fleet operation and contribute to the reliability of our client's transportation services throughout the region. Key Responsibilities Operate various fleet vehicles, including trucks and vans, for transport and delivery purposes. Follow assigned routes and schedules diligently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Perform routine checks on vehicle systems, reporting and addressing any maintenance needs. Ensure all cargo is safely loaded, secured, and properly documented. Comply with all national and local driving regulations and company safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities. Requirements Possession of a valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver's license . Minimum of 3 years' experience driving commercial vehicles. Good knowledge of the Centurion and greater Gauteng road network. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including loading/unloading. Demonstrated commitment to safety and defensive driving techniques. Clear criminal record and a professional conduct record.
