Job description
- Manage end-to-end ICT projects from initiation to closure, including software development, infrastructure, system integration, cloud-based platforms, APIs, distributed systems and digital transformation initiatives. - Develop and maintain project charters, project plans, schedules, milestones, registers, dependency logs, budget tracking information, status reports and close-out documentation. - Facilitate Agile / Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives. - Coach ICT teams, product owners and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, transparency, inspection, adaptation and continuous improvement. - Remove impediments, manage risks and issues, escalate critical decisions and coordinate resolution across ICT teams, business units, vendors and implementation partners. - Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, deliverables, dependencies, benefits and governance compliance. - Engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitate workshops, manage expectations and prepare executive-level reports and presentations. - Support ICT project governance structures, steering committees, administrative controls, audit readiness and, where applicable, project asset, equipment or licence tracking. Qualifications - Grade 12 or NQF Level 4. - Degree or diploma in Information Systems and / or Computer Science and / or Software Engineering and / or Information Technology and / or, Engineering or a related technical field. - Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification. - Project Management certification is mandatory, for example PMBOK, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project - Management, Scrum or equivalent. - At least five years experience as a Scrum Master or ICT Project Manager / Scrum masters in technology-driven environments. - Solid technical background working with software development, engineering, infrastructure or cross - functional ICT delivery teams. - Experience managing multiple concurrent ICT projects, Agile squads or cross -functional delivery streams. - Experience supporting delivery across software development, infrastructure, APIs, integrations, cloud-based platforms, distributed systems, CI / CD or DevOps environments. - Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid delivery models and traditional project management methods.
