About the Role Our client is seeking an accomplished Remote Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to spearhead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems for a variety of cutting-edge applications. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work independently on complex projects, contributing significant technical expertise to a globally distributed team. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of mechanical system design, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to detailed design, prototyping, and validation. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of complex mechanical systems and subsystems. Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical specifications. Collaborate effectively with remote teams across different disciplines and time zones, ensuring alignment and integration. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the remote team structure. Requirements Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical systems design and engineering. Expertise in advanced simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL) and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo). Proven track record of successfully delivering complex mechanical systems from concept to production. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
