About the Role Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Blockchain Architect to join their team, working remotely but supporting initiatives in Stellenbosch . This strategic role involves designing and overseeing the development of scalable, secure, and robust blockchain solutions. You will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring the successful implementation of complex blockchain projects. Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end technical architectures for blockchain applications, considering scalability, security, and performance requirements. Lead the selection of appropriate blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms, and development tools. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications. Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Requirements Extensive experience as a Blockchain Architect or in a similar senior technical leadership role. Deep understanding of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) and their underlying technologies. Proven ability to design and implement complex, large-scale distributed systems. Strong knowledge of smart contract development, cryptography, and cybersecurity best practices.
