This is a key operational role for a polished, guest-focused hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering a seamless reservations experience from the first point of contact through to arrival. The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, solid reservations system knowledge, and the ability to manage a busy bookings operation accurately and efficiently in a live-in environment.
Core Criteria:
- Proven experience in a reservations role within a luxury lodge, hotel, or hospitality establishment
- Strong knowledge of reservations systems and booking platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a warm, professional manner
- High attention to detail and accuracy in processing bookings, confirmations, and guest correspondence
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and enquiries simultaneously under pressure
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Guest-focused with the ability to deliver a personalised and professional experience from first contact
- Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office skills
- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable living and working in a remote environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage all incoming reservations enquiries across all channels, including email, phone, and online booking platforms
- Process bookings accurately and timeously, issuing confirmations and pro forma invoices as required
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate reservations system at all times
- Communicate guest preferences, special requirements, and arrival details to all relevant departments
- Handle booking amendments, cancellations, and no-shows in line with property policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, operators, and direct guests
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly occupancy and reservations reports for management
- Support the wider operations team with administrative tasks as required
- Ensure all guest correspondence is professional, accurate, and reflects the property's brand standards
