About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Construction Project Manager to join their dynamic team, operating on a fully remote basis. This pivotal role involves overseeing all phases of construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for diverse construction projects. Lead and mentor project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and task delegation. Conduct regular site assessments (via remote monitoring and occasional travel if necessary) to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective contingency plans. Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress reports and addressing concerns promptly. Ensure all project documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance requirements are meticulously maintained. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Demonstrated expertise in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and BIM technology. Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements in South Africa. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
