About Us

The client is an established signage company based in Sandton (Marlboro), providing branding and signage solutions to businesses across South Africa. We are recruiting an experienced Sales Representative to grow our client base and drive sales within the signage industry.

Location Sandton, Marlboro, Gauteng

Salary R10,000 -- R25,000 per month (basic), depending on experience, plus commission

Benefits Petrol allowance (paid on logbook) and cellphone allowance

Job Type Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and secure new business within the signage and branding sector

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and signage solutions to clients

• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

• Conduct client site visits to assess signage requirements

• Liaise with internal production and installation teams to ensure client requirements are met

• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions

• Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities

• Provide after-sales support and manage ongoing client accounts

Requirements & Experience

• Proven sales experience within the signage industry (essential)

• Matric (Grade 12); a sales or marketing qualification is advantageous

• Minimum 2--3 years' experience in a sales representative or business development role

• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Strong understanding of signage products, materials, and industry pricing

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently

• Well presented with a professional, client-facing manner

• Computer literate (MS Office; CRM/quoting systems advantageous)
