Aviation Compliance Specialist

About the Role Our client is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Aviation Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements within their operations based in Kimberley . This role is critical for maintaining the integrity and legality of flight operations, maintenance practices, and safety standards. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, conducting internal audits, and developing policies and procedures to ensure continuous compliance. This position is ideal for an individual with a deep understanding of aviation law and a proactive approach to risk management, contributing to the overall success and safety of the company. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret aviation regulations from relevant authorities (e.g., SACAA). Conduct regular internal audits of operational procedures, documentation, and safety systems. Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures. Assist in preparing for external regulatory inspections and audits. Investigate and report on any compliance breaches or non-conformities. Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, or a related field. Proven experience working in aviation compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of South African aviation regulations and international aviation standards. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously.
