A Storeman or Warehouse clerk to work in Europe.

A Storeman or Warehouse Clerk is the backbone of supply chain operations. They are responsible for overseeing the physical handling, accurate recording, and systematic storage of inventory. Their goal is to ensure stock enters and leaves the warehouse smoothly without damage or discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Verification: Unload inbound deliveries, check items against delivery notes/purchase orders, and inspect goods for damage.
• Inventory Control: Log all stock movements using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or manual records. Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock-takes.
• Storage & Organization: Bin and organize inventory logically. Ensure stock is stored safely and logically based on turnover rate or fragility.
• Order Picking & Dispatch: Retrieve requested stock from shelves. Pack and prepare orders accurately and on time to meet delivery schedules.
• Equipment Operations: Operate heavy machinery (such as forklifts or reach trucks) and warehouse tools (like pallet jacks and scanners).
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the warehouse remains clean, hazard-free, and compliant with occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Education:A Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.Willing to apply for a passport.
• Experience:1–3 years of prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail storage environment.
• Physical Fitness:Must be able to stand, walk for long periods, and physically lift and move heavy boxes.
• Tech Skills:Basic computer literacy and experience navigating inventory software or using bar code scanners.
