Intern Architectural Drafter

About the Role

Our client is seeking an eager and detail-oriented Intern Architectural Drafter to join their fully remote team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in architectural drafting and modeling using industry-standard software. You will support the design team by producing accurate drawings and models for various projects. This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in architectural technology and collaborate with professionals in a flexible, remote setting. This role is based in the Nelspruit area for collaborative purposes but the role itself is remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior drafters and architects in creating detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit .
• Develop 3D models and visualizations based on design concepts and sketches.
• Prepare drawing sets for client presentations and permit applications.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.
• Conduct research on building materials and systems as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Architectural Technology or related program.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively online.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in architectural drafting.
