About the Role

Our client, a distinguished aviation maintenance and refurbishment company based in Nelspruit , is seeking a meticulous Aircraft Interior Technician . This role focuses on the installation, repair, and refurbishment of aircraft cabin interiors, ensuring passenger comfort, safety, and aesthetic appeal. You will work with a variety of materials, including upholstery, cabinetry, and environmental systems, to deliver high-quality cabin interiors that meet client specifications and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and refurbish aircraft interior components such as seats, galleys, lavatories, overhead bins, and sidewall panels.
• Perform modifications and upgrades to cabin interiors according to design specifications and customer requirements.
• Work with a range of materials, including fabrics, leathers, composites, and plastics.
• Ensure all interior work complies with aviation safety regulations and cabin certification standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely completion of interior projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Aircraft Interior Technician or in a related field (e.g., cabinetry, upholstery, refurbishment).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to interior fit-outs and repairs.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications for interior components.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
