About the Role
Our client is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Early Childhood Care Provider to join their team in Benoni . This role involves providing high-quality care and educational experiences for young children, fostering their development in a safe and stimulating environment. The position utilizes a hybrid approach, combining in-center care with remote engagement strategies for parents and children. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, monitoring children's well-being, and maintaining open communication with families. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical development.
- Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress and maintain detailed records.
- Engage with parents/guardians through regular communication, including scheduled virtual check-ins and progress reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment, both in-center and supporting at-home engagement.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
- Experience in providing childcare and early education services.
- Understanding of child development theories and best practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using technology for communication and potentially for remote learning support.
