Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

Our client is searching for a seasoned Project Manager with expertise in the construction sector to oversee key projects in the Nelspruit area. This role requires a leader adept at managing project timelines, budgets, and resources from inception to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methodologies and a proven ability to navigate complex project challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire necessary permits and licenses for construction projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage project budgets, track project expenditures, and report on financial status.
• Ensure the quality of all work performed and manage project risks effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
