About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative Content Strategist to lead content initiatives from their Cape Town office. This role involves developing and executing content strategies that align with marketing goals and enhance brand engagement across various digital platforms. You will be instrumental in creating compelling narratives, managing editorial calendars, and ensuring content consistency and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the execution of a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Create, edit, and manage high-quality content for websites, social media, blogs, email marketing, and other digital channels.
• Conduct keyword research and SEO analysis to optimize content for search engines.
• Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all content assets.
• Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to produce engaging multimedia content.
• Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or digital marketing.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
