Senior Project Manager - Operations Improvement

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Project Manager focused on operations improvement for their facilities in East London . This role is vital for identifying and implementing process enhancements, efficiency gains, and cost-saving measures across various operational functions. You will lead cross-functional teams to analyze current workflows, develop improvement strategies, and manage the implementation of new solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of operational best practices, and a proven track record of delivering successful improvement projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality across the organization.
• Analyze existing operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budget.
• Manage project execution, track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure successful implementation.
• Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new operational procedures and technologies.
• Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on operations improvement or process optimization.
• Proven experience with methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in managing projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.
