Junior AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside business departments (Sales, HR, Finance, Technical Support, Production, Marketing) to observe, document and map processes.
• Assist in identifying and prioritising opportunities where AI and automation can reduce manual effort, cycle time or error rates.
• Build, test and deploy automation agents and workflows on the internal AI platform.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of platform components including model gateway, agent run times, retrieval services, tool integrations and user access surfaces.
• Implement and maintain integrations between the AI platform and business systems (ERP, CRM, ticketing, knowledge sources).
• Monitor platform usage, cost and performance; resolve routine issues and escalate incidents as required.
• Prepare and maintain evaluation and regression test sets for deployed automations.
• Apply data classification, access control, privacy and audit requirements to all automation solutions.
• Document processes, solutions and design decisions for knowledge retention.
• Provide first-line support and guidance to departmental users of deployed automations.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay updated on developments in AI models, tooling and automation practices.
• Communicate progress, risks and blockers clearly to managers and stakeholders.
• Job Experience and Skills Required:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or related field
• 02 years experience in software development, automation, data engineering or related discipline (academic, internship or project work considered)
• Practical exposure to Python and at least one AI/LLM framework or API
• Working knowledge of version control, relational databases and web APIs
