Job Purpose

To keep the executive team of the new digital bank aligned to the strategy and answer for the reporting, tracking and coordination that keeps the strategic plan on course. The role turns many moving initiatives into a clear picture leaders can act on, and ensures decisions are informed by accurate, timely information.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment and Delivery

• Join up the plans and initiatives across the business and track delivery against the overall strategy.
• Contribute to the key strategic projects and keep initiatives aligned to the priorities.
• Link the capability roadmaps across initiatives and coordinate the teams involved.

Reporting and Decision Support

• Turn complex information from across the business into insight that leaders can act on.
• Build the initiative dashboards, tie them back to strategic goals, and keep them honest.
• Produce the reports and presentations that senior management rely on to make decisions, delivered on time and to a high standard.

Coordination and Stakeholder Management

• Work out what each stakeholder needs and get teams pulling in the same direction.
• Keep the team effective through strong working relationships with delivery partners.
• Spot product and market opportunities alongside the other teams.

Team and Culture

• Turn culture-survey feedback into action plans that are implemented.

Build a capable team and manage recruitment, performance, retention, succession and coaching

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree

Preferred Qualification

Business Management, Management Analytics, Finance

Minimum Experience Level

Demonstrated experience in an analytical, strategic or business-management environment, typically gained over seven to ten years, ideally in banking and strategic reporting. A track record of coordinating complex initiatives and producing decision-ready reporting for senior leaders will be advantageous.
