We are inviting capable Operator: Mechanical Plant, Grade 2 candidates with up to 2 years on the job experience to connect with us for possible fixed term contract positions at a local municipality.

Who We Want to Meet
Operator: Mechanical Plant, Grade 2 candidates who meet the following criteria:

Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African Identity Document

Minimum Requirements: Drivers’ licence code 14 (EB and EC) to Code B. Up to 2 years relevant on the job experience and competency certification/s, if applicable. Must pass departmental proficiency test.

Descriptors: Check, operate and perform basic maintenance on plant.

Core Functions / Characteristics:

• Operate the following mechanical plant: Rex landfill compactor, loader front-end (4 in 1 side dump), tractor-agric with all attachments, loader/ traxcavator, scraper-open bowl/drawn, dozer class 2/3/4.
• Perform basic maintenance on mechanical plant.
