About the Role
CoSauce is hiring Business Development Representatives to build sales pipeline for our clients in Australia and New Zealand.
The role is daily outbound prospecting. You research target businesses and start conversations by phone, email and LinkedIn. You then qualify interested prospects and book meetings for the client's sales team.
This is a permanent night shift, 00:30 to 09:00 SAST, so you are working during the business day in Australia and New Zealand. The role is based at our Hyde Park office in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities
- Run a daily outbound cadence by phone, email and LinkedIn against agreed target accounts
- Re-engage older leads and past enquiries that have gone quiet
- Qualify interest and book meetings for the client's account executives
- Keep CRM activity, notes and next steps up to date every day
- Learn each client's product well enough to talk about it with confidence
- Hit your activity and meeting targets, and share what is working with your team leader
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years in a BDR, SDR, inside sales or outbound calling role (B2B preferred)
- Clear spoken English and a confident phone manner
- Working knowledge of a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho
- Comfortable working to daily activity numbers
- Able to work 00:30 to 09:00 SAST from our Hyde Park office
Preferred Experience
- Selling to businesses in Australia and New Zealand
- Selling software, services or B2B subscriptions
