Production Operator

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and reliable Production Operators to join their manufacturing facility in Stellenbosch . In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality goods according to specifications. You will play a vital role in the day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards on the factory floor. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure that all products manufactured meet quality standards and specifications.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
• Identify and report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Production Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is advantageous.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles and equipment operation.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
