Key Accounts and Internal Sales Manager

NOTE: This is an office based position, no hybrid or flexible-hours.

Non-negotiable requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
3. Strong Excel skills: PivotTables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, filters and sorting (this will be tested before an interview)
4. Strong numerical and analytical ability
5. FMCG, fashion, beauty industry experience
6. Experience using Syspro/other ERP system
7. Previous experience managing a sales team
8. Confident to deal with major retailers and buyers

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the day-to-day Internal Sales function and customer queries.
• Manage customer product listings and ensure barcodes, stock codes, descriptions, pricing, pack sizes and other master data are accurate.
• Work with customer buyers and retailer portals on listings, amendments, approvals and follow-ups.
• Pull, prepare and analyse sales, stock, distribution, ordering and customer reports.
• Use PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and formulas to reconcile and analyse large datasets.
• Identify sales trends, stock gaps, distribution gaps, non-ordering products/stores, pricing discrepancies and other exceptions.
• Translate data into clear actions and communicate findings to management, Buying and Sales.
• Assist the Field Sales and Internal Sales teams with listing, pricing, stock, ordering and customer queries.
• Monitor outstanding orders, backorders, customer actions and deadlines and ensure follow-through.
• Coordinate information and actions between customer buyers, Buying, Internal Sales, Field Sales, Warehouse and Finance.
• Manage multiple tasks, reports, deadlines and customer requirements simultaneously.
