Environmental Services Technician

Our client is seeking a diligent Environmental Services Technician to ensure a pristine and safe environment in their facilities located in Centurion . This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across various operational areas. You will be responsible for a broad range of cleaning and disinfection tasks, utilizing specialized equipment and adhering to strict health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed cleaning routines for offices, common areas, restrooms, and specialized zones.
• Operate and maintain environmental services equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers.
• Handle and apply cleaning chemicals and disinfectants safely and effectively according to protocols.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling programs in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
• Respond to emergency cleaning requests and maintain a high level of responsiveness.

Requirements

• Previous experience in environmental services, janitorial, or cleaning roles, preferably in a commercial or institutional setting.
• Proficiency with a variety of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and sanitation best practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
