About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their prominent architectural practice in Randburg . This role demands a high level of technical expertise in translating architectural designs into comprehensive construction documentation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the technical viability and regulatory compliance of projects, working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors. The position offers a hybrid work model, blending essential in-office collaboration with the convenience of remote work. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Oversee and review the work of junior architectural technologists and drafters.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to contractors.
• Ensure all project documentation complies with South African National Standards (SANS) and relevant building codes.
• Manage project documentation and project communication in a hybrid work structure.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Expertise in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural software.
• In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and National Building Regulations .
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage tasks effectively in both an office and remote setting.
