About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and technically proficient Web Designer to join their team in Upington. You will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that align with our client's brand identity and business objectives. This role requires a blend of artistic talent and technical skill, including a strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and front-end development. Key Responsibilities

• Design visually engaging and user-friendly websites, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Collaborate with developers to implement website designs, ensuring technical feasibility and optimal performance.
• Optimize website content and structure for search engines (SEO).
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for improved user experience.
• Stay updated on the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive website designs.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Knowledge of UX principles, information architecture, and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
