About the Role

Our client is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead their team in Upington . This hands-on leadership role is crucial for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities, from receiving and storage to picking and shipping, are conducted efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding stringent safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the warehouse team.
• Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

• Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety protocols.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
