About the Role

Pinnacle is looking for an experienced Design Engineer - HVAC/ Fire Protection Systems (FPS) to join our NextGen Design Studio in Bangalore. The role involves working on complex international projects, particularly across the UK and Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Fire Protection Systems for complex building projects.
• Prepare layouts, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Work on sprinkler, hydrant, fire pump, wet/dry riser, and suppression systems.
• Ensure compliance with international fire protection codes and standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary MEP and BIM teams.
• Review designs and mentor junior engineers.
• Support BIM-driven and digital engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Building Services in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of FPS design experience.
• Strong experience with complex building projects.
• International project exposure preferred, especially South Africa, UK, or Middle East.
• Knowledge of relevant fire protection codes and standards.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar tools.
• Professional certifications such as PE, CEng, IFE, SFPE, NFPA are an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Bangalore, India.
