MONEY MARKET ADMINISTRATOR
Investment Administration | Cape Town – Southern Suburbs
A detail-driven opportunity for a finance-focused administrator

This role offers the opportunity to support daily money market and investment administration while delivering professional service to clients and maintaining strong standards of data integrity and compliance.

FUNCTION
Money Market / Investment Administration
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
· Prepare daily call sheets for Financial Advisors and maintain daily rates, statistical information and supporting financial data.
· Capture and update transaction and client information accurately on internal investment administration systems.
· Check and validate information to protect data integrity, particularly during week-end and month-end processes.
· Maintain accurate client information, including tax numbers, addresses, personal particulars and required compliance information.
· Perform departmental reconciliations relating to interest and capital accounts.
· Extract and process bank statements and maintain supporting financial documentation.
· Process withdrawals and other authorised client instructions in line with established procedures.
· Prepare and distribute monthly client statements and maintain accurate departmental records.
· Attend to client instructions, queries and requests professionally and timeously.
· Manage year-end document control and archiving requirements.
· Assist with system and process enhancements, liaising with relevant internal support teams when required.
· Provide general and ad hoc administrative support to the team.
Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
· Matric with Accountancy and/or Pure Mathematics.
· Previous experience in a similar investment administration or financial administration role.
· Experience with complex reconciliations and/or bookkeeping will be highly advantageous.
· Experience working with financial information, transaction processing or client records will be highly advantageous.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with financial, investment, custody, accounting or document-management systems is advantageous.
