Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks for long-haul transportation of various goods.
• Plan and execute efficient routes across the Northern Cape and other provinces.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered safely and on time.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documents, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with a current Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a long-distance truck driver.
• Excellent driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations.
• Strong knowledge of national road networks and safe driving practices for long distances.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.
• Physical fitness and stamina for the demands of long-haul driving.
