About the Role

Our client, a prominent entity in the Arts & Entertainment sector, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Video Editor to join their entirely remote team. In this critical role, you will oversee the post-production process for a variety of video projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and storytelling. You will lead a team of editors, manage project workflows, and collaborate closely with directors and producers to bring visions to life. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the editing process for a range of video content, including films, documentaries, promotional videos, and online series.
• Collaborate with directors and creative teams to interpret project requirements and translate them into compelling edits.
• Manage and mentor a team of video editors, providing guidance and feedback.
• Ensure seamless integration of graphics, sound design, and music into final edits.
• Oversee quality control and final delivery of all video assets across multiple platforms.
• Stay abreast of emerging video editing technologies, software, and storytelling techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in video editing , with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role .
• Extensive experience with non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality video content for the Arts & Entertainment industry.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Experience with color correction, grading, and audio mixing for video.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and remote collaboration skills.
