About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist with a focus on Health Analytics to join their innovative, remote-first team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and analytical solutions to address complex healthcare challenges, such as disease prediction, patient risk stratification, and treatment effectiveness.
- Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various healthcare sources (e.g., EHRs, claims data).
- Collaborate with clinical experts, product managers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines and analytical workflows, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively through visualizations, reports, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and health informatics.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a significant focus on healthcare analytics or a related domain.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and extensive experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
- Strong experience with SQL and working with large, complex datasets.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
