About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI algorithms for robotic systems, focusing on perception, control, and navigation.

• Develop and test robot software using ROS (Robot Operating System) and other relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure optimal performance and integration of AI components.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in robotics engineering with a strong emphasis on AI integration.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python, and experience with ROS.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer vision.
• Experience with sensor integration, motion planning, and control systems for robots.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, laboratory environment in Sandton .
